Update

The main reason I am typing a post today is because I did not want to have a big "Fuck You" at the top of my blog anymore. Things are going well right now.

1) I completed my first Grad Class. (Individual Differences)
2) I had my teeth cleaned and was told I have no issues. (In my mouth only; clearly I have other issues...)
3) Of my closest 20 friends that I have, I was able to spend time with the 5 that have not moved hundreds of miles away from me this weekend. I had a lot of fun. While I am on this topic, I would like to digress for a moment. I would like to state for the record that I do not want new friends because I love my old friends and it sucks that they all move away! :(
Side Note: One thing that helps is when they make me scarves...
4) I enjoy TV. The following shows make me happy: How I Met Your Mother(Hilarious), Heroes(Clearly, well thought out), House(Funny), Boston Legal(Ridiculous and never takes itself seriously), Bones(Funny), Lost(Intriguing), Smallville(For the nerd in me), Supernatural(Healthy dose of scary plus X-files people write and direct episodes), The Office(Humorous), & Shark(Good character).

Currently I am working my assistantship, attending class, working as an independent contractor at my old job, a Senator in the University of Akron Graduate Student Government, going to the gym, and have been approached to work at a Veterinary clinic as an administrator(long story). I always seem to do this to myself and I have no idea why.

That's all (Not all people suck that much, just GP's)

• You sound incredibly over committed...I hope it doesn't drive you too crazy...
• It must be nice to have 20 friends. I have 4 counting you. And the one other besides Bob that lived here left just yesterday to move to California, so I feel you on the moving thing.
• On the subject of visiting with friends, when are you coming for a visit? (Not that you aren't incredibly busy with school and like 10 jobs or anything...) I don't think we will be home over the holidays because there is no one to watch our dogs...so if you have time over break, you should come down...
• I'm working on the scarf thing. When I said I'd make you one, I sort of forgot I've never made one before, so I have to be sure I make it well so it will look really good. Expect it for Christmas. :-)

My commitments are not as bad as they sound. I only have to work at my assistantship 20 hours a week. The Graduate Student Givernment only meets once a month. I only have two classes right now. Since I am an independent contractor at B&A, I dictate when I work, and the Vet thing would be very minimal. They need someone to do random administrative business-y things occassionly.

I am desparatley wanting to come to Memphis over winter break. The downside to my assistantship is that I have to keep working over the break (the upside is that I continue to get paid). However--I may work it out so I work Mon & Tues one week and Thurs & Fri the next so that I would have like an 8-day weekend. Due to my money hoarding with all of these jobs, I should be able to afford the visit--now I just need to work on the timing. If last minute notification is acceptable, I will probably be able to make it. I would like to fly due to the weather in December (although I have 4-wheel drive now).

I did not know you have never made a scarf, but I really want one now and you did offer...

• I really want you to come and visit, so you can even call me from the airport here and tell me to come get you and that will be fine.
• As far as timing is concerned, I am off work Dec 17-19, and Dec 23-Jan 1. My parents are visiting from the 25th-i don't know when, but they know and like you so as long as you don't mind a crowded house, you are more than welcome to come at the same time. You can come during the time I work too...whenever is fine. aside from a flight, your visit should be cheap. there is nothing to do here, and we can cook at home most of the time, so there you go.
• as far as the scarf, it won't be that hard...i just have to figure out what style i want to make it. it will be cool, i promise.
